Okay need some quick advice. I have a month long rotation set up at a large children's hospital in Pedi Heme/Onc doing both inpatient and outpatient. Was hoping there was a book/articles I could read to prepare. This is one of the programs I am seriously considering for residency and want to make a good impression any advice.

also looking for a recommendation for a good NICU book

also how should I prepare for a pediatric nephro month. thanks for the advice

I would look up articles on ALL, since that is the most common pediatric diagnosis. And specifically, would look up how to diagnose and treat it. Also, ITP is a very frequent admission diagnosis. There are some caveats to that, like why you would wait to use steriods... And review common chemo drugs (MTX, cisplatin, etc...).

Can't offer any advice on nephro sorry.
