Hey guys, in your opinion and personal experience, are there any advantages to taking step 1 AFTER doing some rotations. It seems like this is the situation that I find myself in. 🙁

Wouldn't it be really cool if you did Step I after a Pathology rotation?

Yeah, it really would be. But, unfortunately, I don't think that would be a possiblity. According to my schedule, it looks like I'll be starting out with OB/GYN on Jan1, then Family, Internal Med, and Peds. The kicker is that I'm not allowed any vacation time until fourth year, so I'll have to study for step 1 while on my May rotation
