I'm currently an OMS-II in another state, but I'm originally from Michigan. I want to go back for electives during 3rd and 4th years, and a couple of the hospitals I'd like to rotate at are Ingham Regional and Sparrow.

Does anyone from MSUCOM or elsewhere have any advice on what the best rotations at these hospitals would be? I'm pretty open to a wide variety of rotations; I'm still undecided about what specialty I want to go into.

i would like to know about this too.

spectrum health in grand rapids michigan is conducive to surgical critical care and surgical subspecialties if that helps...

i have had some kick butt attendings and residents that have blown me away with their knowledge and their ability to think outside the box and diagnose a patient when other hospitals couldn't find the ultimate cause.overall we have really enjoy that rotation in michiqan.

Yea, it's also ACGME-accredited with MSU-CHM. It looks pretty DO unfriendly to me, surprisingly. I noticed 1 DO resident in EM and none in the others I looked at (Rads, Gen. surg., TY, and IM).
