Rotations with family members?

A question for all you out there. I have been accepted to medical school and as it turns out, my dad, an ER doc, REALLY wants me to do a rotation with him during my 3-4 years (even though his hospital isn't on the school's list of sites). Ethically and technically, is this possible? I have heard that you can't so far (from a student at another med school during an interview) but anyone out there in a similar situation?
