rounding up?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
if you're complete, you can log in to AMCAS and see your GPA. I haven't done it lately, maybe if the application deadlines have all passed they don't let you log in anymore, i don't know. anyways, when i checked it had my science and total GPA both with 2 decimal spaces. So a 3.46 would be a 3.46 and a 3.39 would be a 3.39.

is a 3.46 = 3.5?
how about 3.39 = 3.4?
how many significant figures does amcas use?

thanks!

2 numbers after decimal point (i.e. 3.75)

oh really? thats how you do it? see i've always gone with 2 separate rounds of rounding.

Round 1: 3.46 to 3.5
Round 2: 3.5 to 4

just makes more sense to me, but if you have a 3.44, good luck.

I like the way you think 👍
