I just wanted to start a list of rejections....to help those who are still waiting for some programs to communicate there decisions to us

I cannot beat you but at least you received a rejection notice from U Conn . I assume that I have been rejected , I'm not even worth the time for them to let me know.

Others include:
Houston, Texas Tech and Fresno

I have also noticed that other programs I have applied to are all over the interview thread but I have not heard from them so again I am assuming that I was rejected there also. The way I see it: If I can spend the money to apply there they could at least have the decency to send a rejection notice, if the program receives some of the money. I have no idea where it all goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't exactly know what this means, but I'm viewing it as a rejection. Would it even be worth it if you were offered a slot to spend the $$ to interview? Clearly it's likely that you are well down on their wish list so what are the chances of matching there anyway?

I have 10 interviews and am still waiting to hear from 25 programs. I hate this waiting game. It's been a quiet week other than for rejections. I hope it's not a sign of what's to come. Well, I just got my first rejection - sort of....

I emailed Arizona on Sunday, telling them that I was withdrawing my application since I had already received enough invites from programs that were preferable to me...

24 hours later, I get an e-mail from them saying that they are unable to offer me an interview...

It's like something out of a bad sitcom:
"I Quit"
"You can't quit, you're fired"
"You can't fire me, cause I quit first"
etc, etc, etc....
