Has anyone else received an invitation for an interview at Rush? I thought they were doing phone interviews, but I was invited to go to the university and interview in person. As awesome as that sounds, I live in Ohio and traveling to Chicago for an interview might be a little difficult for me.

I had an interview at rush in person. The do not conduct phone interviews as far as I know. There were several people from out of state, like Florida and Connecticut.

Waitlisted to interview? I didn't know they were doing that. When I interviewed in December they said they were interviewing 90 people and would probably accept about half of that group of 90. Maybe they are waiting to see how that first round shakes out, and will interview more if necessary. The notification they sent me said that I needed to confirm my "alternate" spot by February 15th.

I've met a lot of people who applied to multiple schools, so I wouldn't lose hope if I were you. I just withdrew my name from the waitlist at Rush, so there is one more spot available there. 🙂 Best of luck to you.
