I got in both RVC and Glasgow and am having a dilemma here.

I like RVC for its 4 yr program, and cheaper tuition. And I guess being in London is a plus too...

But Glasgow just opened up a really nice small animal hospital, and the campus just seems so beautiful.

I think I will probably end up in RVC because of the shorter time and cheaper tuition... but Glasgow seems really nice too....

The Queen Mother hospital for small mammals is the best referral hospital in the whole of the UK. This is at RVC 🙂

Camden campus is a bit small but only the first year; Hawkshead is the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year (for accel program) and is REALLY gorgeous.

Ummmm....Sorry AngSchmange...I am going to have to disagree about RVC being "the best"--->"one of"...sure, but Glasgow is right up there. Check out our new TV show on Animal Planet!!!

Also, to the OP---is the tuition really that much cheaper? I'm just wondering if you are figuring in the cost of living in London as well.

If you have any specific questions about Glasgow, please feel free to ask!! Probably the best decision of my life to attend Glasgow, so I am happy to share my experience!!😍

I'm just going with what RVC said in our interview and what's on their website, but you know how schools do, their stuff always being the best! haha. Not trying to downgrade Glasgow at all! And just remember Mch you'd only be in London for year 1, prices drop once you move out to Hawkshead, esp since a lot of the students get houses together and that will make utilities drop as well as rent, since everyone splits it. On campus in Camden is 127 pounds a week, but living off-campus with fellow students might drop that price too; this is what we've all been sort of tossing around lately.
