Hi everyone!
I currently am trying to decide between RVC in London (graduate accelerated track) and Ohio State University for veterinary school as an American student. For background information, I am someone who really tries to prioritize (at least somewhat) good work-life balance (I know that vet school is time consuming but at least a BIT of fun would be great), am very into traveling, hardcore city girl, snow-hater but I have done it before and could do it again if necessary, and am interested in small animal or exotic medicine with a plan to pursue specialty. I know that RVC had some issues with AVMA accreditation last year, but as far as I am aware they are fully accredited again. I am honestly unsure of where I want to live long-term after veterinary school, but want to ensure that working in the states IS an option. With commitment deadlines approaching, I was hoping to get some insight from people who are/have been in a similar position as most people in my life just say "GO TO LONDON."
For any current students at these schools could you tell me honestly about your experience? Or does anyone have any advice or insight into what might be the "better" choice to make? Thank you in advance!
