I was accepted to both schools and having a hard time choosing so please help!

About me: I am from Northern California. I love skiing and the outdoors, and grew up ice skating. Both locations seem to have opportunities for these interests.

My parents semi-recently bought their retirement home 20 minutes away from ICOM (unrelated to my medical school journey) but going there would mean I would be near them/have close family support.

ICOM is close to Boise while RVUCOM is close to Denver. Obviously Denver will have more activities, attractions, other big city things, but overall cost of living will be a little higher.

I have toured both schools and they both seem good. But, I was very impressed with how new/nice ICOM and its facilities were and how much they seem to care about student success.

RVUCOM preclinical curriculum is HP/P/F while ICOM is letter graded.

I know RVUCOM is also a more well established school... so it makes me think I should go there, but I truly don't know what is right for me.

Any pieces of information, opinions, or advice are welcomed, thank you!!

Where are you open to doing clinical rotations? I would also weigh which school's clinical rotation locations you prefer.
