I have an inside source that tells me the CPA (calif psych assoc) is putting in a bill this year for fast track approval that will springboard off of what the ND bill did. This will allow limited prescribing (formulary) independently for for people with an MS or equiv in psychpharm/med psych, who already are licensed with a PhD/PsyD, and collaboratively prescribe (with MD) an open formulary(similar to NDs in Ca. and the Louisiana law). Anyone heard of this and what are your thoughts?
