Hi guys,
I bought rxprep 2012 to prepare for the naplex and it seems like the 2013 has about a hundred more pages..? I don't want to spend money on another book cause i have the 2012 which i haven't looked at it yet. Do you think the 2012 is enough to get by the Naplex? Can someone tell me roughly what the new book has while the old one does and let me know if that said information is available online somewhere?

There are a lot of drugs missing from the 2012 book. It's hard to state the differences because it seems like each chapter has something added.

Hi, we can read 2012 Rxprep course book and subscribe Rxprep 2013 question bank so that we can know about the missing details in Rx prep course book 2012..this is my opinion.. (because i am also having 2012 Rxprep course book ) If I am wrong please feel free to postt your suggestions ..thanks

That's a good idea! If you get the question wrong because your missing the info from your book, they always explain the correct answer 👍

On the front cover of 2013, it says it has more Infectious disease, drugs and something else I don't remember.

We have been getting NAPLEX prep for 3 years now through classes! 2012 should be fine to pass. Skim pharmacist letter to see quick commentaries about new drugs. Personally I am not spending a dime on NAPLEX prep.

The 2012 book is now over 16 months out of date, and in pharmacy, that is a long time. The 2013 book contains the latest CHEST guidelines, new diabetes guidelines that came out in April 2012, new COPD drugs and guidelines, and a whole host of new updates. We now have much more information on treating alcoholic liver disease and renal disease and more calculations....some of those areas were not covered in the 2012 book. There are over 140 pages more in the 2013 book!

For this type of high stakes exam, I would make sure I am using the latest material as every question counts and can make a difference.

hi I have 2011 Rx prep and 2012 and 2013 questions. i think 2400 questions have all the details and new updated guidelines.i am planning to appear in June.Any advise ,please let me know. good luck to all twho are ready to take their NAPLEX.

HI,
I gave my exam on Feb 20 2013 and I only used RxPrep 2012 no question bank and I got 99. so if you are giving sooner I think for the exam it should be sufficient. However for your knowledge base I think it will be nice to have 2013 version. Hope that helps.
good luck

Can anybody help me with the question 91 and 85 from the SDN 120 calculations. My answers were wrong.

thanks in advance..
