Safe time to take nbde part 1

i have done my bds from india,and plan to take nbde part 1.Can some body let me know which is the right months to give the exam ?As I have read at couple of places u cross the dead line to apply in the schools.Plz help.Bombay bds I hope a reply from u as u answer lot of queries.

it would probably be best to take it by March or April. I believe majority of the schools on westcoast have deadlines around August, USC is the only one i know of having the deadline in the beginning of September, and majority of eastcoast schools have deadlines around Dec-Jan.

Do some research,visit the different schools website and ull find out deadlines.

Safest time = when you are fully prepared.
the cycles start around April-May... so if you can give it before that it wuld be good. You cannot repeat the NBDE exam once you have passed it, prepare well and only then give it.

hi,i called commision of dental examiners they told me i have to make an application first then thy'll tell me when the exam is!what if i cant commit i mean i need to know before i make an application is that possible?
