What would constitute a safety net school or a sure bet for someone with a 39 MCAT (13PS, 12VR 14BS) and 3.6cumGPA and 3.7 sciGPA? I have less than a yr of research (250 hours) and lots of shadowing and volunteering and non clinical vounteering at elderly homes, youth bball etc.

St. Louis U?
Rosalind Franklin?
U of Cinci?

What couple schools can I put at the bottom of my list to ensure admission this cycle?

What is your state of residence. Nm I looked you are from California. Applying to every cali school with your stats should get you accepted. The problem with having a 39 is a lot of schools that you are hypercompetitive statswise for might overlook you when you aren't an in state resident or don't have a clear reason to attend.

So do you think I should not apply to any lower tier schools like Rosalind Franklin or Loyola?

Yeah for sure if you have the cash and time time, just don't think that because of your stats you are guaranteed a spot. If you apply to all of the Cali and NYC schools that alone would probably make it pretty likely that you get in. I looked at your old thread and I'd just go with the advice you were given there.
