^^what about things like health insurance, dental, vision, car insurance (not everyone lives in NY), emergency funds, etc...
$375/month - or $12.50/day after rent and utilities is pretty much living in poverty, and that's considering you can do rent and utilities for only $525/month. Also, 525 + 375 = 900, not 1000. But it doesn't matter, it's still not enough.
I met a vet recently that was living out of a car and taking donations for food. How did this happen? Apparently vets don't always make enough to set aside funds in case of emergencies - like if they become seriously ill and can no longer work for a long period of time.
Going back to the "other" forum now😳
