Sample letter of recommendation??

OD im working with wants me to write my own "best" letter of recommendation by myself and he will sign it after little revise. i googled it and its hard to find sample optometrist letter.
i would really appreciate if anyone can help how to write a good letter or has sample they can share with me?

You might want to consider getting it from someone else. Obviously he/she doesn't think enough of you to actually write the LOR for you on his/her own. There is the possibility that a school could contact your recommender for clarifications, etc. If you've written the letter, how could the OD remember what you've written?

well, he said he always done it this way before.

plus he is the board member of one the school im applying to.
