San Diego State University for Pharmacy?

Hello,

While I am waiting for UC's and other private colleges, does anyone know about San Diego State University and if it is a good college to prepare students for pharmacy? I got accepted and I want to become a pharmacist but I do not know if it has a good science department. I want to go to a college that will adequately prepare me for the PCAT.

I graduated from SDSU with a BS in biology. Speaking from my own personal experiences, I felt like the science classes I took allowed me to easily study/review for the PCAT in 3 months. I did extremely well in the science and math subsections (verbal and reading has always been my weakness). There are many pre-health organizations to get involve with also. The pre-health honor society provided me with lots of community service opportunities and the pre-pharmacy club had many guest speakers who were pharmacists. I am applying to pharmacy school this cycle and have been granted an interview at all the schools I've applied to. Best of luck with choosing your college!
