I am confused why the screwdriver is going to be at the same speed
Given Fc = mv^2/r

Both satellite and screwdriver are in same orbit so r is same, they both experience same Fc
but screwdriver mass should be less than satellite mass and so wouldn't it have to move faster than satellite?

If the astronaut is working on the satellite, him, the satellite, and the screwdriver are all travelling at the same velocity. So when he leaves it out, it's gotta be travelling at the same speed.
