Hey.
I got into the University I wanted to. It's conditioned in fulfillment of all pre-req's, obviously.

I had the time-line fixed and figured out - all on track. Today I get a call from a different University where I am suppose to take my LAST pre req class. "due to state funding decrease we are closing the class". WHAT? I already paid, the class is full (so no lack of demand issue here), and I even have this authorization for the class schedule, and so on.

Not only that, because it's now too late, I can't sign up for this class in other Universities/ colleges.

Can you imagine this? This makes me want to cry.

what should I do?
Did you think I should even try and explain this situation to the University that accepted me?

Thank you!

What class is it? If it's one of the more non-standard pre-reqs like microbiology or biochem you might be able to get out of it if the dental school is understanding. Give them a call ASAP, like t/m morning and ask!

yes. call the uni you were accepted to and ask them. but first call every other uni and cc around that you may be able to take it at and triple confirm that it is filled up. then you can tell your new uni that you have truly exhausted all options.
good luck.

That's right, I was THINKING about USN pharmacy at first, but changed my mind, if that's ok with you guys (-:

I am talking about a different school though.

By the way purplepanda, why would feel you need to, how should i say this, mock me for asking a question here.

Anyway, thanks for responding

apparently, some people feel that saying something negative is better than saying nothing. i always thought it was the other way around.

Take it at a community college, that's what a friend of mine did.
