I wish they would have been a little more detailed... Did he have any training in dentistry but never finished school/ failed out/ was trained as an assistant or something/ just a regular guy doing dentistry?

sucks for those patients who got screwed though.

Diluted bleach on the gums to treat an infection. I wonder if it worked. Humm.... Maybe I should try that.

That guys is a freaking idiot. The patients are idiots for not having more common sense also. Why would ANYONE let someone put bleach in their mouth? Even if it is diluted.

I lived in Miami FL. for quite some time and there were (and probably still are) a few people practicing dentistry illegaly. For the most part the people doing this are/were dentists in whatever country they came from (Cuba for example) and when they came to FL., they never got licensed and they would even practice out of their garage (I remember the garage story in particular as there was a an actual dentist chair in the garage). Usually the patients were illegal immigrants who were afraid to go to a legitimate office or low income people who could not afford health insurance, so this was the alternative they chose. Obviously this is terrible and should not be going on but at LEAST the people practicing illegaly were previously a dentist from their country of origin and not just some con man with a chair and some tools. I am not saying in any way,shape, or form this was acceptable, just that some of them had some form of training.
