Hello,

So I know there are already many threads about the contents of the scco interview but many of them are old.

I know for a fact that interviews will be conducted with one faculty member rather than two. In addition, how in depth do I need to know about healthcare and optometry laws?

For example do I need to know about healthcare reforms, the different type of insurance companies, and obamacare?

Thanks so much for your input. Any other tips on the interview would be much appreciated 🙂

In my interview we didn't talk about that stuff at all! It was mainly just my interests, why optometry, where I see my self in the future, how did I prepare, very basic stuff! Don't worry about it too much, their interview was very relaxed!

I really wouldn't worry about it! The laws are different for every state, so there's no reason you'd know California laws unless you're from there. If you want to be safe, look up one hot issue in optometry right now that you could talk about, like online eye exams or UPP!
