Quick Question, is there a difference between scheduling an interview on Jan 28th vs Feb 4th or Feb 11th?

Is there some statistic that shows higher rate of acceptance if interview is scheduled earlier?

I'd like to know the consensus on interview times and what is best.

You might have to wait longer for a decision later in the cycle as you're likely to be in a later committee meeting.

That said, you should go to the earliest interview date possible as schools often waitlist good candidates towards the end of the cycle if they're getting really close to the acceptance numbers they want to hit.

None at my school. Quit overthinking.

It depends on where the next admissions committee meeting lies among those dates, and this should be a piece of information easy to acquire from the admissions office. You don't want to wait an extra month for a decision on your file.

I believe LizzyM has stated multiple times that once you are invited for an interview, timing does not matter. As in, you should apply as early as possible to have a higher chance at an II, but once you have an II, it does not matter so much if you interview in September, December, or even February.

I would go as a soon as I could get there, but that is just because of my own impatience. Any stat you find about earlier interviews = greater chance of acceptance probably has more to do with higher stat applicants being offered earlier interview dates.
