I didn't decide that I wanted to be premed until halfway through this semester (I'm a freshman). Right now I am taking Calculus and a few other courses that are required by my university.
I was planning to start all my science prereqs next year and double up, but I looked at the course descriptions and apparently a full year of chemistry is needed to qualify for the biology course.
So I was hoping that I'd be able to do this
Freshman: Calculus
Sophmore: Chem and Bio
Junior: Chem and Physics
Senior: Bio electives
Now it looks like they will force me into this:
Freshman: Calculus
Sophmore: Chem
Junior: Chem and Bio
Senior: Physics and Bio electives
I could triple up on sciences junior year, which sounds like a horrible idea. What do you think I should do? Should I take the chemistry class over the summer to catch up?
Thanks
