Man, all I see are options for students beyond their P1 year. Are there any that you know of for the entering P1 students?

Ouch, Abilify. I know that at Idaho State the (few) scholarships that are available to P1s are school-specific. At our interview we filled out a scholarship application. The school boasts that they give out "over $135,000 in scholarships every year" to pharm students, but with ~220 students total, that's not a lot of money. A lot of the scholarships require that you graduated from a certain high school or had parents that went to ISU, etc. My favorite is the one "awarded to a Doctor of Pharmacy major with a cumulative gpa no greater than 3.80."

I've done searches for general pharmacy scholarships and they've mostly come up empty. Perhaps the dearth of free money available is because pharmacists generally do OK for themselves after they graduate. Either way, you are probably going to have to rely on your school's financial aid office for the best info.

the only ones I know of, you have to be caucasian

My apologies, but what was your point in that comment again? I guess that one just kind of flew right by me. :scared:

i'm filling out fafsa and from what i understood, that takes care of a lot of things. so you can at least start with that for federal loans/grants.

Either I just didn't get the joke, or it just wasn't funny at all. 👎

You really don't get the joke? Look at a source with a bunch of scholarships and see how many are only open for certain ethnic groups.
