Does any one know how the following schools are about giving our scholarship money.

NYU
Columbia
Uconn
SUNY Stony Brook
U Maryland

I think my chances are good to get some money at stony brook because im a NYS resident and my scores are pretty good (3.9 science and cum GPA in undergrad as a Bio major and 21 academic, 22 Science, and 19 PAT on the DAT). But if anybody has any insight please reply becuase the though of borrowing over 150K just scares the hell out of me.

If you are scared with $150,000, do not try at NYU, USC, UOP.
They are between 250,000 to 300,000 .

The only school I heard that gives any scholaships is UOP.
I heard up to 40 K$.
I may be wrong. They want to lure some good students

i know for sure maryland gives scholarships. i'm not as sure about the amount. whether you receive one will be made known to you with the acceptance letter.

i also believe nyu gives some scholarships as well. if i remmeber correctly i think it might be as high as 25k a year as mentioned by a financial aid officer. you may want to ask about the scholarships directly. i believe you can email marysol ayala to find out. her email address is [email protected].

as for the other schools, i'm not as sure. hope this helps! you have awesome scores, i'm sure you have nothing to worry about. good luck with everything! 🙂
