I know this is a simple question but...

In essays with strict letter counts, I don't want to have to say University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine every time, like they seem to do on their website. After saying it once, is "UC" acceptable? Just Pritzker? I feel weird mentioning what 'Pritzker has to offer', since it is a person's name. Does anyone know what abbreviation do people at UCPSOM use?

Thanks.

I'd probably refer to it by its full name first, then start using short-forms.

I spent a summer there, and heard it referred to primarily as Pritzker. In my essay, I used the full name first, followed by Pritzker in subsequent sentences.
