Hi all! Very thankful to have multiple DO acceptances so far. I’m a FL resident and would love to stay closer to home. I have an open mind for specialty, but I’m very interested in anesthesia or IM w/ fellowship in heme/onc at this point. I’m a first gen so I truly have no idea if any of these schools may set me up better than the others. Any advice would be appreciated!

ACOM
CUSOM
LECOM-Bradenton
NSU-KPCOM Tampa Bay
VCOM-Auburn
LMU-DCOM Orange Park

I also have upcoming interviews with Touro MT and Burrell FL.

I cannot recommend any for-profit, or brand new school. Therefore remove Toro Montana and Barrel Florida from your list if you get acceptances there

I can't recommend LMU com for different reasons.

Nova has a history of being very punitive on students if they ever dare to offer constructive criticism about the way things are done. Nova likes wielding the professionalism cudgel very easily.

ACOM,CUSOM, VCOM.AL LECOM.BR are all fine. Pick the one with the cheapest tuition
