School Choices & Thoughts on GPA/DAT

I am getting ready to submit my application to a list of schools and I wanted some feedback/suggestions.

cGPA-3.02
sGPA-3.05

AA-21
TS-21 (BIO-22, GC-20,OC-21)
PAT-19
RC-22
QR-19

My first two years I had a 2.5, mainly poor gen eds.
Huge upward trend in GPA (300/400 level class GPA-3.67). Nothing below a B in the last 2 years (GPA last two years-3.58).

Volunteer hours- 450+ (quite a bit in Flint, MI with the water crisis)
Shadowing hours- 50

Predental Club
Played a year of college football (NCAA, not a club)

I am applying within the next few days and wanted some suggestions on schools, along with anyone else's stories/suggestions who had success with similar stats.

DAT and the football part will help. You need to get 100 shadowing hours by the time you hit submit as a minimum. Apply to many private schools + your state school. GPA is low but if you hook them in with your personal statement so that they see the rest of your app, you have a good chance

I'm not sure your DAT will compensate for your GPA.. Your GPAs are significantly lower than the median of the majority of accepted students. I would choose your schools very wisely.

How is your BCP? I've seen people on here post their stories with similar stats to yours when I was researching my own situation. Do a search with 3.0 and you should find some past feedback. I think you have good shot but I agree with Alpha, get the shadowing up! Make sure to apply to schools that are private and who stress holistic review. Good luck rooting for you!

I appreciate it! Any idea on schools who stress holistic review? BCP is 3.19, but again I have a very noticeable upward trend. Thanks.

Hey, sorry for hopping on this thread, but... where in the world do you find the sGPA, cGPA, and BCP on the application? I went to several schools, completed two degrees, and have no clue what my GPAs are when they are calculated together. Will ADEAAADSAS provide them only when transcripts have been verified? Thanks!

I calculated mine using an excel sheet. I believe AADSAS will provide them to you after they receive your transcripts and verify your grades you enter.

I have very similar academic stats and am also applying in this cycle. I have not taken the DAT yet.
