School doesn't have scores?????????

I tried calling my school (DO) to see if they could give out the scores and they said they don't get them. "Really" I said, "you can't just download them or whatever from NBME" and they said they don't do that. I am moving in a couple of days and the post office said it would take a couple of weeks for me to get my forwarded mail. Bummer!!!!

I emailed my registrar @ 0930 & they already had the score reports.

I got an email back from them w/ my 3 & 2 digit score w/in the hour so yes they do get them. Sorry you couldn't end your pain...

thats a bunch of bull$hit....the registrar at my DO school definitely has access to scores online...I would assume someone in your school has access, but it isn't their policy to release scores to students (many MD schools have that policy too)

no idea...but I'd be pissed too if I couldn't get my grade today from my school when I knew they had it

My registrar said she wasn't allowed to release it per NBME rules.

I don't know how other schools do it, but that's what mine said.

That's what I figured. The USPS had better get to Milwaukee soon, or I'll be a nervous wreck this weekend. =(

Though, she'll spend a long time explaining that the school no longer tells students when they failed. There was a rumor going around my class saying that we'd get paged if we failed.

this is what my school did...and it's brutal. I can't believe they do it this way, and don't see the benefit over emailing us, or something, exactly as they've sent us important, private information for the past two years...

3 times today an attendings pager went off during a lecture...3 times every student within earshot instantaneously lost complete of their bowels.

Update:

It turns out the people working in the Registrar's office figured out that they can get our grades today at about 4:00pm. I bet enough students hassled em until they just couldn't stand it anymore and decided to figure it out🙂🙂 I'm so happy now!!

My school isn't releasing them either. Kinda sucks. You'd think it'd be simple to just check less than one hundred scores and give em to us. More waiting I guess. At least NBME showed my score was indeed released today. Hopefully by Saturday.

uuuhhh, who/what is the registrar. I called our secretary in student services and she said she had no access. Maybe i'll call the registrar if i can figure out who it is.
