I'm a first time applicant (new to SDN) and wanted to ask for some input on my school list before I finalize it/put it into AMCAS.
Here's some info about me:
-Home state = AZ
-GPAs (total and science) ~3.75
-MCAT = 519
-ECs:
350 hrs cancer research (no pubs)
8000 hrs as an ER scribe
300 hrs shadowing trauma surgery and emergency medicine
300 hrs synthetic biology research (no pubs, but 3 research scholarships sponsored by my university)
200 hrs non-medical volunteering (Red Cross)
350 hrs leadership (organizing Red Cross blood drives)
109 hrs volunteering in an inpatient oncology unit
And here's my school list:
Please let me know if you think my list would benefit from any changes - I wanted to make sure that the variety of schools I chose was reasonable for my stats, ECs, etc. Also happy to share more info about myself/my app as needed. Thank you so much in advance!!
