1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS
Since I'm considering the next application cycle as a backup, I want this to be my final time applying because my MCAT will expire. I've spent significant time analyzing MSAR data and exploring how out-of-state applicants are viewed. Based on that, I've created a preliminary list of schools.
I understand my volunteering hours are low, and I'm working to improve them over the next few months. I'd appreciate your honest feedback on my chances and whether it's worth applying to the schools on my list. I want to try to narrow it down to around 25 schools.

Question: Is it worth applying to schools like Kansas, Louisville, Kentucky, and Minnesota? They have relatively low OOS spots, but they also have fewer OOS applicants. Per MSAR data, you have a better chance of getting an interview as an OOS applicant at these schools vs a school like GW, which receives 15 thousand plus applications. Have you heard of people receiving II without ties to these states?
Thank you for the feedback!
