You should include all your Texas MD schools, including TCU-UNT. You should receive several interviews from your list.

I added all the Texas schools to my TMDSAS app, and it was transmitted to schools today. However, realistically, I don’t have a huge interest in primary care and if I get interviews at too many schools in Texas I won’t be able to go to all of them. I go to school in upstate New York so flights to Texas are expensive and difficult, especially when you’re trying to get to more rural places. Is it a bad idea to withdraw apps at that point if I need to? Do you know which Texas secondaries cost money?

Do not withdraw any applications until you have one acceptance.

The issue is that it could be a while before I would hear back from any acceptances, and I realistically cannot afford to pay for more secondaries and to potentially fly to Texas 12 times for interviews because it's expensive and there are no direct flights. I can't just not respond or turn in secondaries waiting for an acceptance so I'm not quite sure what to do.

Skip this cycle, work and save up enough money so that you can afford to do and secondaries AND interviews
