Hey everyone, I need help with my school list for DO schools mostly. I'm willing to apply broadly, but obviously applying to every AACOMAS school is unreasonable! The schools in green are my dream schools so chances/outlooks on those schools would be much appreciated.
- Texas resident
- Overall GPA: 3.10
- My last 2 years of undergrad have an upward trend and I have a 3.63 GPA on those last 2 years
- Masters of Medical Sciences at UNTHSC GPA: 4.0
- MCAT: 506 (127 chem/phys, 124 CARS, 127 bio, 128 psych)
- Letters of Evaluation: 1 dean/physiology graduate professor, 1 anatomy director/professor, 1 MD, 1 DO
ECs:
- Co-founder of non-profit organization that tackles hunger/food waste ~ 300+ hours
- Molecular & clinical research at Baylor College of Medicine ~ 1,100 hours
- Shadowing (3 MDs, 1 DO) ~ 200 hours
- Counselor at camp for children whose parents have cancer ~ 800 hours
- Community service (medical clinic for uninsured, fire relief, food bank, etc.) ~ 200+ hours
