Hi guys! With June 1st being a couple days away, I would like some advice from you guys about my school list and I've put some info about me below if it helps.

New member chairman for my sorority
Other:
Pre-dental club, AED (pre-health club), Biochemistry club, tutored student athletes in chemistry and math (40 hours)
Volunteering abroad: With FIMRC for two months in Peru which included clinical exposure to different health fields as well as working with community to promote public health

School List:
1. VCU
2. Maryland
3. Louisville
4. Temple
5. Boston
6. Pittsburgh
Maybes: Nova, LECOM, Tufts, Ohio State, Kentucky, USC

I would like to apply to 10-12 schools so I need to add more schools to the list. I would like to go to a school where they are known for dentists coming out feeling prepared with their hand skills but any school I have a chance at would be great! Also, I'm really big on working with underserved populations and I would like to have the opportunity to travel abroad (I feel that most schools offer that). Also what DAT score should I aim for with my GPA?

Thank you!

The tricky thing about making a school list for you is that it largely depends on how you do on the DAT. Just do as well as you can, don't worry about aiming for a specific score. National average for accepted applicants is ~20. Application looks solid overall imo. I'd consider doing more shadowing.

The schools you have listed are all reasonable for OOS applicants, but you really need the DAT score before being able to choose schools wisely. Sorry I can't be of more help. I assume you're submitting your app prior to getting a DAT score. You could always aim low with schools and then add more competitive ones later (if you slay the DAT).
