I thought I already posted this but it seems to have disappeared. I apologize if this is a re-post.

I'm a re-applicant, made the mistake applying late and to too many top schools. Looking to do it right this time. My stats:

GPA: 3.75s 3.71c, MCAT: 33R, (10 PS, 12 VR, 11BS)

EC's:

Clinical: 200 hours volunteering emt abroad

Shadowing: 50 hours shadowing

Research: year honors thesis

Leadership: fraternity exec board

Extra:

4 years on varsity tennis for my school. Also, worked at a hospital management company, a market research group, a year at my schools writing center and tutoring physics since this past May.

Here's my school list: (mass resident)

Umass
Tufts
BU
Einstein
UVM
SLU
NYMC
Cincinnati
Medical college of wisconson
Penn State
Eastern Virginia Medical School
Creighton University
University of Colorado
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
Louisville Medical
Ohio State
University of Maryland
Wayne State
Miami Miller
Toledo
Wake Forest
Wright State

I'm looking to add some mid-tier as well as a few reaches (gotta dream). Any suggestions on what to add? Thanks a lot!

Hi there, I think you should probably eliminate every school on there except for SLU. Kees

I would look into applying to UCF, a newish school in Orlando. Orlando is awesome; badass bball, awesome weather, and filled with super hot chicks too (a lot of whom are dumb and underage, lol) GL bro!

anyone with input? I've been going through other school list threads to try to get a sense but I would really appreciate some advice.

Hi everyone,

I made a "school help" thread in the my chances form (which i would still love input on!) but I would like to add 3-4 "reach" schools that are not as research focused. I have a 3.75s, 3.71c and 33R mcat (10ps, 12v, 11bs).

What are some less research focused reach schools for my stats?

Moving to WAMC. Merging.

Please do not cross post in different forums. WAMC is a more appropriate place to ask for your question (reach schools, based on your stats, that are not as research focused).
