Hey guys, I need help with a school list for DO and MD if anyone wants to put in input.
Pretty much 3.08 cGPA, 2.9 sGPA and 509 MCAT CA resident
3.85 Masters gpa
3-4000 hours research and publication in progress
3000 hours eldery hospice care
250-300 hours shadowing family physician
300 hours clinical volunteering
some other small EC's here and there but that's the most of it.
I was recommended these schools

ARCOM
NYIT-Arkansas
BCOM
UIWSOM
ICOM
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
WVSOM
LUCOM
VCOM ( all 3 school)
PCOM Georgia and South Georgia
LECOM (all schools)
CHSU-COM (new school)
Sam Houston State (new school)

I've seen these schools also pop up
Touro-CA
Both Westerns
BCOM
AZCOM
PacNW
DMU
KCOM
KCU
CCOM
MUCOM
VCOM
NYITCOM
PCOM
Both AR schools
UIW

I can afford to apply to probably around 20 DO schools and I have the Fee assistance for MD and DO so I'm just gonna shoot my shot at like 16 or so MD's as well
Anyways if you can help me narrow this list I'd greatly appreciate it.

I think you a 5% shot getting in somewhere MD.

Apply to as many DO as you can bc ur GPA will be a dream killer at 90% of them.
May need a gap year to re-construct and show you can get 4.0's in science classes.
As a VCOM first year myself, I can tell you don't apply bc they love thier high GPA's (and seem to not care about higher MCAT's).

I think you will get actually a few interviews if you apply to THAT many schools and early enough... well done on the MCAT.
I think MD is a waste of money - use that money to apply to ALL 30+ DO schools instead.

First off thank you, tbh I only had a month to study for that and I coulda done much better but meh. Second I have the fee assistance program so like 16 are free anyway so might as well apply, shot in the dark maybe someone accidentally presses accept lol

Where did you do your master's from? DO or MD linkage?
Add upper division science classes to raise your sGPA >3.0 even for some of the DOs.
Getting MD will be a long shot unless you are an URM.
