PhD/PsyD School Psychology PhD at Teacher's College Columbia

Hi everyone! I tried to find a thread specific to the school psychology program at TC, but wasn't able to. Is there anyone who can tell me more about the program including but not limited to admissions, interview day, faculty, internships, etc. I am looking at both school and clinical programs because it's really important to me to have some flexibility in my future career. The TC school psych caught my attention because, at least from my understanding, there is good enough preparation to be certified AS WELL AS licensed (Licensure percentage: 77%). If I were to be accepted into this program, would it be safe to say that I should come out with adequate preparation for school, clinical, and research settings?

Licensure outcome reported actually has little to do with the actual pass rate. Some programs have a really low licensure rate possibly because many of their graduates went on to become faculty/school psychologists, which doesn't require licensure. The right place to look at should be the ASPPB's website.

Their APA-accredited internship placements are very good though if that's important for you.

APA match rates were important to me when I applied too. You should look at the APPIC Match Statistics in this case:

Unlike clinical/counselling psych, many school psych students actually do not register with the APPIC for APA-accredited internships as they want to do an internship in a school setting instead. The stats give you a brief idea about where those students from individual programs who applied for APA internships were matched or not.

Columbia is obviously a big name, but the costs and living expenses in New York City just drove me away.
