This is my first time applying(finally!!) and I am not sure if my school selection is acceptable. My MCAT is 28Q(only thing that is creating some doubt), 3.9c/sGPA, and considerable clinical/research/teaching experience. Is this too many schools or too little, given my MCAT. Thanks for your input.

I think your application as a whole is really well-rounded, obviously save the MCAT. That being said though, I think you have made a good set of school choices, since at quick glance, all but Einstein are generally less-selective schools. The only one that is catching my eye is West Virginia - they sort of only take residents, so unless you live there (looks like you are from NY), I'd drop that one. I like the rest.

Um. I thought West Virginia interviewed some students and as many as 26/108 were out of state. Mistake on excel MSAR?

Otherwise, should i apply to more schools. I don't want to go through this process twice because I didn't apply to enough or to wrong schools. My friend got no acceptance with a 31 MCAT albeit he did not have the same activities as me. Thanks again!!!

This is actually a possibility. I have some vague memory of someone else saying this. I'd call the admissions office there for clarification.

I think you have enough schools quite frankly. If money isn't an issue, sure, apply more! haha

if you don't get in, sign up for a kaplan class and raise that mcat.
then apply again.
