Hi, I have a quick question about some of course requirements for certain schools. Some of the schools I plan to apply to require 3 or 4 credits of human anatomy. I'm in my senior year, and I haven't taken any anatomy classes yet. The only anatomy classes offered in the fall semester are Animal Physiology classes, which I don't think they'd accept as a Human anatomy substitute, and so I didn't register for them. Now, the period to add classes is over, and I still haven't fulfilled their anatomy requirements. There is a class offered in the spring semester, however, that should fulfill the requirement, but it won't show up on the transcripts I'm sending, and by the time the spring semester starts, I'll already have finished applying.

Is this going to influence my admissions chances? What should I do about this requirement?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

On pharmcas, there is a place where it shows what courses you are planning on taking, i believe (haven't looked at it for over a year...lol). This is where you put down that you will be taking anatomy in the spring semester. For me, I had to take microbiology my spring semester after applying for pharm schools in the fall. It may or may not affect your chances, depending on your circumstances, but it is alright to take it in the spring. If you get into the school, they just send you a letter or something stating that you need to complete such and such before the start of the fall sem with a C or better....somethign along those lines.

if you need anymore help, pm me

Good luck!
