I saw that Mississippi should be on amcas but it's not there as a choice. Does anybody else see instances like this for other med schools?

I know some new schools and select schools like ones in texas won't be listed, but mississippi is on the amcas list on MSAR and participates on their LOR service. It's also not old either. If anyone knows what's going on, please share! thx

There are several schools that do not take out of state students whatsoever, and U. Miss. is one of them. As such, they do not appear in the list of schools on Amcas. Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina is the same way.

no, i don't live there, but usu. places like new mexico still list but say u need strong ties to the state
