I have submitted a LOR from a dentist via interfolio to dental schools about a month ago, and none of the schools say online that they have received it.

Does anybody know what's the problem? I've checked the addresses and they are correct.

i donno about everyone but interfolio has been very VERY slow in processing documents.

i had to use interfolio for TMDSAS, and everything I had to send it there, i mean literally everything, took at least 1 month to update after i sent out. they also lost one of my documents, which held up my application for few weeks and they didnt' even notify me.

they actually do have a fax line where you can fax in a document, which they do not share the number with public, but you can request that number if your document has been sent and still shows as not received for awhile. if you send it in as fax, it'll show up as received within 24 hours (i donno if you can get an extra copy of LOR esp considering it's supposed to be confidential). i had to do that with one of my 'lost' document

Hi,

My name is Mike Lovell and I am a current member of the Interfolio team based in Washington, D.C.

I saw this developing thread, and I thought it would be great for all users of Interfolio to hear a little bit more about how we operate and what to expect from us.

Interfolio is committed to processing all mail 1-3 days upon arrival to our office. This means, when your recommendation arrives here, it is uploaded into your Interfolio, TMDSAS, or AACOMAS account within this small time frame.

With that in mind, the US Postal service continuously relays to us that processing first class mail can take up to 14 business days to reach our address. Since these kinds of deliveries are sent without tracking, there is no way for our staff to verify where these documents are and when to expect them at our office.

Our Customer Experience Team is always on hand, willing and able to go the extra mile to assist you directly. If this means calling your writers directly, and exploring additional avenues to accept your recommendations - then that is what we will do.

I'm available and looking to assist as well, and I encourage you to give me a call directly at any time.

Cheers,
Mike
