Hi everyone,

I just have a simple and silly question. It's mostly about those medical schools that are affiliated with larger schools.

For example, NYCOM is affiliated with NYIT. So, does that mean that an NYCOM student can have access to NYIT resources (ex. libraries, residences, etc..)?

Other schools such as VCOM, TCOM, UMDNJ-SOM, AZCOM/CCOM... I was especially wondering about Midwestern University. Say, I'm an AZCOM student. Does this mean that I'm also a CCOM student and have access to CCOM resources?

Thanks. 🙂 I'll really appreciate it if anyone can give me a reply. I know I post a lot.

I do know at VCOM the students have all the benefits as the Va Tech students, all except student housing. We have full access to the library, shuttle service, meal plans, tickets to events and work-out gyms.

I know AZCOM and CCOM are afilliated, but I think the only way that you can use the resources from each school is probably during third and fourth year during rotations. Otherwise, due to location, I think there is minimal overlap ofr esources, aside from being affiliated with one another and being able to rotate through associated hospitalsfor each school.

Hi,
UNECOM is part of UNE (University of New England) ... more than just
affliated. Might I also add that the campus is gorgeous - right on the
beach with lighthouses and big rocks jutting out of the water.
