Hi, I wondered if anyone had a spreadsheet with schools that Do/Do With Upper Level/Do Not take AP credits.

I am majoring in Biochemistry and plan to take upper level courses (so I would like to take Organic Chemistry) and use Biochemistry w/ lab to satisfy the Chemistry requirement.

I tried using the search feature, but only found one for dental school, and google gave me these:

http://www.dartmouth.edu/~nss/nav/pages/school/Med School Course Reqs/MedSchAP08.pdf

http://www.colorado.edu/aac/noapib.htm

It would be great if I had a more thorough list that included all schools on the MSAR, even clearly indicating ones that do accept AP Credit, and the discrepancy between the two links, most notably HMS not taking AP Credit in the colorado link, makes me think one isn't accurate.

Why don't you just look at the MSAR??? All that information is available there.

I don't think a spreadsheet like the one you're asking for has been created. Good luck.

I haven't seen anything other than those two links, so those will be the best place to start.

Another good thing to do would be to contact schools directly. They can certainly tell you their policies.

Don't worry too much about it. Unless you have your heart set on a school that will absolutely not accept AP (and you can find out for sure by emailing or calling them), you don't have to think too much about it because most schools will accept AP, especially with upper-division coursework.

I was actually going to link you to the Colorado site--that's where I did my post-bacc and they've got one of the most informative pre-health websites I've seen. I agree that you should look at MSAR or individual school websites for the most updated version, though.
