Schools that don't require the PCAT vs schools that do

Is it typically harder to get accepted into a school that doesn't require the PCAT? I'm thinking about applying to schools that don't require the PCAT.

I think it may be harder if you are someone who would score a high percentile because that's just one less thing they have to go off when reviewing your app

I think they concern more on Personal Statement and other areas since they don't look at your pcat. Some school do preferred candidates with heavy research experiences. And most of the non-pcat schools are expensive or locate in an expensive places (high living expense).
