schools that look beyond GPA

Let's just say my GPA is not spectacular. I'd appreciate any suggestions on which private schools to apply to, ones which will look at essays, letters, and MCAT before my application ends up in the trash. Thanks

i've heard uconn is somewhat liberal. dunno for sure though!

I know Columbia states explicitly that they look at the whole applicant and does not rely on a computerized process.

Tulane might to some extent. Dr. Pisano seems to go with whatever catches his fancy.
