It seems like certain schools are more reponsive than others I was wondering which schools tend to be like responsive. I don't want to make heinous long distance calls (ring up the west coast from the east).

Personally, I found that Brian Hahn at Temple, Amy Knowles at NYU and Dr. McManus at Columbia respond within hours of sending your email. The worst for me was Tufts and BU...must be a Boston thing...VERY unresponsive.

Really? Tufts always responds to my emails within 24 hours. BU is a lost cause though. I remember sending them an email last year and to this day I havent recieved a response.

The best way to communicate with the people at B.U. is via the phone.. That's the way I always did it, never really tried talking via e-mail..

damn, I guess Tufts didnt like me 🙁

Tufts is very good, so as OSU and Case in the midwest. I think Nova is hopeless on emails, but great on the phone.

I don't know about that mo, Su-Ann is impossible to get on the phone. I have never tried to e-mail.

So far for me it's been Tufts and Temple but I am waiting for responses from 3 or 4 schools that I've emailed.

The only place I've e-mailed is UCLA. I try to call the other schools whenever I have a question to ask. So far, all the schools have been responsive to me, except for USC because their phone systems are a hassle to navigate, and UCSF, for the same reason.

That was my experience Jeff. Sue-ann was responsive on the phone (when I called), than emails. I don't blame anyone in Florida to be responsive with a weather like that during winter. 😉

Columbia is pretty responsive to e-mails, I believe. So is UMKC.

Kathy Craig at the University of Washington has been great at replying to my emails within a few hours of me sending it.

Dr. Frank Ayers at Creighton is also very good at answering emails right away.

Of the schools I looked at, UCLA and USC did a great job of responding by email (approx 2 day turnaround or sooner). UCSF and UOP I could reach by phone. UOP was always the easiest to reach, answering by the 3rd ring!!! Awesome.
