I was wondering if there is an updated list. I looked but hadn't seen one for a few years and some on the list I know don't screen when it says they do.

Does anyone have a list? I didn't see a spot in the MSAR where this information is given.

Thanks!

It's given in the "Application Deadlines and Requirements" for each school.

The only two I know of off the top of my head are Wake Forest and Loyola.

Edit: And VCU

I assume all schools screen presecondary unless stated on their website that they automatically send trains of secondaries, such as USC and Stanford.

I know UCSF, Davis, Irvine, UCLA, and UCSD screen from my experience ;/

thanks so much!

i would say most schools DON'T screen presecondary.

I applied to 25, and only Vandy, Loyola, Wake, and Toledo screened presecondary.

Agreed.

I don't think he means screen as in sending a secondary to verified applicants, most schools do that. He probably means schools like Wake Forest that screen the primary application and look for certain qualifications before sending a secondary.

Oh my bad. Misread that.

All the UCs screen (University of California), or at least say they do, though obviously at different levels.

University of Washington screens as well.

I've heard stories of people getting their secondaries sent in and being rejected immediately. I think some are just hoping for a little extra scratch during the medical school app process.
