All the ivys send them to everyone from my knowledge...and almost all medical schools do...of the ones that screen that I know of are:

Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
U Minnesota-Twin Cities
U Wisconsin-Madison
Loyola?? I think

Probably a few more but most just send them to all applicants...they like the money

What about Harvard,Yale, Columbia,........?

Yale is definitely everyone...I got theirs a week after I submitted my primary application to AMCAS, and it wasnt verified yet. Brown is not selective either. I thought Stanford was selective, but apparently not either. And I got an email from Duke saying my secondary invite was imminent but got held up due to their application's problems, so they are not selective either.

It may be easier to compile a list of schools that do screen, since the majority dont. As far as decent schools that screen--Wake, Vanderbilt, Miami (if you are OOS you need a 3.6). I also think Wayne State screens, which I dont understand since they're the lowest form of med school in the country.

i think cornell and columbia and upenn do...

Eastern Virginia screens, just got rejected a few days ago...

Indiana University screens as well, (Interview given with secondary)

i spoke with the director of admissions at UCSD earlier this evening, UCSD screens... of the >5000 that apply, they send out about 2000 secondaries. The screening process is mostly just mcat/gpa but he said they look beyond that and send out a good number that dont fit in those number reqs.

Here's the quote:
Secondary applications are automatic for students with high grades/MCAT scores. ALL REMAINING applications are reviewed and many additional are granted secondaries after careful review

I guess it's sort of auto...

what about northwestern?
