Schools that will not accept bioengineering as science for LORs

Thought this might be helpful for other bioengineering majors! This is my list so far, please add if you know of others =]

1. NYU
2. Medical College of Wisconsin
3. Boston University (Can write an explanation, committee will take into account, but can still opt to wait for a science letter)

I dont know if this applies to all engineering majors or not.

IMO, engineering is science. I'm not a fan of this rule.

IMO, engineering is science. I'm not a fan of this rule.

I think that it's silly that engineering isn't considered a science. Sure it's not a "pure" science but it's clearly the direct result of science and an amazing process of science being applied to a variety of problems.
