Hi does anyone have thought on what schools I should apply to?

I am a TX resident planning to apply to
Baylor
UTSD
UTHSC-San Antonio
University of Florida
LECOM
NOVA
NYU
VCU

I have a 4.0 without +\- (4.155 overall 4.157 science with)
23AA (all 22+ on subsections of AA)
18 PAT

2 leadership positions
200+ hours volunteering at private practice and 100+ shadowing two general dentists combined
40 hours volunteering with nursing home
20 misc volunteering hours

Does anyone know OOS schools that are TX resident friendly and/or don't heavily weigh pat?

What schools should I add to my list?

8 schools is more than enough with 4.0/23. Maybe even think of cutting some out that are lower on your list.

before I can give you a definitive answer, what are your professional goals?

I hope to eventually open my own practice after becoming a dentist in the suburbs or city. I currently have no plans on specializing, but that might change as I am exposed to specialities during dental school.

Thanks for the input, but my school and the dentist I shadow reccomend 12+ schools to be safe

your list is pretty good, i imagine youll recieve interviews from texas schools. Id add some more private schools like temple or tufts just to be safe
